The Smithville Diamonds Little League is excited to announce a new opportunity for 11 and 12 year old baseball players for the 2012 season! We are chartering a Little League, “50-70” recreational league for 11 and 12 year old’s that want to play “real” baseball. Players will play under modified high school rules (leading off, unrestrained base stealing, advancing on a dropped third strike, etc.). Players will pitch from 50 feet with 70 foot base paths. Bats are limited to 2 ¼” barrels (no big barrel bats).
Player must be ages 11 or 12 as of May 1st, 2012 to participate in the league.
